In a small coastal town, six members of the local Australia Day Planning Committee meet to plan a memorable day of activities:
- an ambitious, self-serving mayor
- a Greenie council member
- a conservative, bigoted, country Aussie who resists multiculturalism
- another good ordinary bloke who wants the celebrations to run smoothly
- a CWA member who struggles to understand Twitter and Facebook, and
- a perky young teacher, makes a joke of every racist comment about his Vietnamese heritage.
A great laugh at ourselves and a harsh look at what lies beneath.
